Bio

Originally from Hollis, Queens, the home of hip hop legends, Whuteva, bridges the gap between church and the streets.  No stranger to the industry, Whuteva has traveled across the globe performing alongside 50 Cent, Eminem, Method Man and Redman.  He’s recorded with Grammy Award winning producer, Rockwilder, penning  tracks such as “Mardi Gras” on the “Friday After Next” soundtrack and  the rowdy fight anthem “Here I Come”  for UFC fighter Mike Swick.  Whuteva has performed on TBN’s “Praise the Lord”, BET’s “106 n Park”, ABC’s “The Jimmy Kimmel Show” and GMC’s “Hotlist”.

Highway 2 Heaven”, Whuteva’s highly acclaimed debut release gives you 19 hot joints to ride with.  This testimonial cd featured some of today’s hottest producers and a collaboration with songstress, Lil’ Mo.  With singles like “Roadside Assistance”, and the highly energetic “Whutevazklevah”, the concepts are fresh, the lyrics are tight, and the message is captivating.  “The Wilderness”, his latest project opens up and addresses the daily struggles of a Christian and the battle between loving “the Lord” and living “the Life.” The first single, “Hustla” is also featured on Fuel/Warner Bros. “Rockwilder presents…Blue Octane”. “Hustla” is the most downloaded single on iTunes from the Blue Octane album.

Unlike the fast-food hip-hop that’s currently in rotation, Whuteva’s music is well balanced- flavored with dope beats, inspirational lyrics, and seasoned production.  This is Soul Food!

Whuteva uses melodic hooks and charismatic flows to evangelize, effectively reaching today’s hip-hop generation.
